Cybercrime has been officially reported to have risen since 2022, after Australians lost over $300 million on scams in 2021 alone. As remote work and businesses expand their online presence, the jump in cybercrime hits record-high rates sparking major concerns for businesses and families.
We live in a digital era where information and data are more valuable than gold. With the current surge of online business, vulnerabilities are escalating with cloud breaches, phishing, account takeover attacks and ransomware among the top concerns.
The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) leads the Australian Government’s efforts to improve cyber security. Their role is to help make Australia the most secure place to connect online.
As the nation’s chief authoritative body in cyber security, we are delighted that ACSC has authorised Adrian C. to present an educational lecture to help businesses and individuals gain a greater understanding of the cyber threat landscape and the tools and protocols available to them to protect their data and intellectual property
