About Dr Michael Freeman
Associate Professor Michael Freeman is founding dermatologist at THE SKIN CENTRE, specialising in cosmetic and laser dermatology. He is a renowned dermatologist that contributes greatly to the field through teaching and research as well as servicing patients at his busy practice. Dr Freeman is particularly interested in advancing the use of specialised lasers, educating other dermatologists and leading more than a dozen clinical trials in this area.
He is a familiar face around many leading hospitals, including Director of Dermatology at the Gold Coast University Hospital, a visiting Dermatologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Bond University. With more than 30 years’ experience in the field he is renowned across the Gold Coast and further afield for his expert knowledge.
